The mechanical button doesn't provide feedback unless the watch is charged.
If the watch is charged, every time you press the button, you feel a little vibration (haptic feedback).
It was extremely difficult to find the right balance in between having a button too soft (and therefore your child might press it inadvertently), and too hard (for obvious reasons). However the button will soften a bit after few days of use, making it perfect to use even for a 3 years old.
If the button of your watch seems to be not functioning, please try to:
- Plug the watch to its charging cable, plug the charging cable to a power source
- Press the button
