If you are trying to login to your Octopus Watch App account but have one of the following error messages:
- "Invalid email"
- "Cannot complete login with this account, please check your email and password".
- "This email address is already taken, try to login instead"
Reset the password
1. Verify your login information
Misspelling arrives far too quickly. So check the spelling of your email address and re-enter your password (passwords are case sensitive).
2.1 If you don't remember your password, click on "Forgot your password"
In the field “Your email” enter the email address that you used to create your account. Ensure the spelling of your email is correct: this will be used to send an email with the reset instructions.
Click on “Forgot your password?” and the following pop up appears: “Password reset. We sent you an email with password reset instructions, follow the link in the mail to reset your password”.
3. Open the email from support@heyjoy.io and click on the link
Connect to your email account and open the email from “Support@heyjoy.io” entitled "Reset password instructions" (if you don't receive the email, check your spam folder).
In this email, click on “change my password”.
If you haven't received the confirmation email, request a new validation email on this page
4. Choose a new password
When you click on the link, a new window entitled “change your password” opens in your browser.
Choose a new password for your Octopus Watch account. It must have at least 8 characters.
Save it by clicking on "Change my password".
5. Connect to your Octopus Watch App with your new password
You can open your Octopus Watch App and login to your account with your new password.
